CIMB-Principal Announce 50% Fund Size Increase for Two Islamic Funds

Kuala Lumpur: CIMB-Principal Asset Management Berhad has announced a 50% increase for the size of two of its funds: the CIMB Islamic DALI Equity Growth Fund size is now 1.8 billion units and the CIMB Islamic Money Market Fund is 337.5 million units. Previously the fund sizes were 1.2 billion units and 225 million units respectively.

Chief Executive Officer, J. Campbell Tupling said: “This is a timely increase as the funds are able to meet the different needs of our investors in the current market condition. Some are keen to invest in current attractive valuations for the opportunity to further grow their investment, while others are re-strategising for their active return to the market.”

CIMB Wealth Advisors, the major distributor of CIMB Islamic DALI Equity Growth Fund, notes that there is good demand for the EPF-approved Fund due to its consistent out-performance of its benchmark.

“The Fund has been outperforming the FTSE Bursa Malaysia EMAS Shariah Index since its inception in May 1998. As at 31 May 2009, the 3-Year cumulative performance showed outperformance by 20.85%. It is also popular with EPF investors as they can eliminate the hassle of topping up from their own pockets and deduct directly from their EPF accounts instead, provided they have sufficient balance in their Account 1. Investors can consult any CIMB Wealth Advisors to check their latest balance in Account 1,” said Tan Beng Wah, Chief Executive Officer of CIMB Wealth Advisors.

The CIMB Islamic Money Market Fund serves as a convenient parking facility for investors to temporarily place their cash without compromising their accessibility to withdraw anytime without penalty. The Fund aims to provide investors with liquidity and regular income while maintaining capital stability by investing primarily in Shariah-compliant money market instruments.

Model terbaru yang ditunggu2 dari nokia sudah memasuki pasaran Malaysia sejak sebulan lepas. N97, model touchscreen dengan aplikasi internet yg sangat dinantikan. Ramai yang meramalkan N97 ini akan menguasai pasaran dari iPhone kerana aplikasi yang mesra pengguna.

Dengan fungsi touchscreen, WIFI, juga keyboard keypad akan menjadi faktor utama kepada pemasaran N97 di kalangan pengguna. Malah model ini telah dianntikan sejak berada dipasaran luar negara pada hujung tahun 2008.

Ini memang model yang terbaik jika anda inginkan kelebihan pelbagai aplikasi dan juga aplikasi yang mesra pengguna. Saya bersetuju dengan model Nokia terbaru ini akan dapat mengugat pasaran iPhone. Cuma Nokia perlu memastikan harga untuk model ini tidak jatuh terlalu cepat.

Will You Do What Rich People Do?

We always heard people question; How they do that? Why they are so rich? How they can afford to use that expensive cars? Why they are so rich? and so many more question whenever they see rich people with his big house, expensive cars, very nice suit, and etc.

So here I just wanna give a very simple info on what the rich do that not many people do in their whole life.

"Are you willing to work 18 hours a day? Rich people do."

"Are you willing to work 7 days a week? Rich people do."

"Are you willing to work in spite of uncomfort? Rich people do."

"Are you willing to work in spite of fear? Rich people do."

"Are you willing to do what rich people do as above? Will see......

I believe you know your own answer for the last question. This is only some of the list of What Rich People Do, but this could be a start.

GOOD Time and BAD Time

The son of successful network marketers Ben and Dottie Boreyko, BK soaked up the industry at a young age.

At 9, he began helping his parents in the day-to-day operation of their Amway business. “Growing up in the industry was like going to summer school for Free Enterprise 101 with your dad as the teacher,” BK says. “It was something I just grew up around.” His father would pay him $10 to read a personal development book and write a book report. The first book BK read was The Magic of Thinking Big by David Schwartz. As a result, BK incorporated the power of proactive thinking into business opportunities and, by 18, developed his own distributorship. “If my dad hadn’t made a decision to get involved in network marketing, I don’t think I would have been exposed to such invaluable personal development.”

BK Boreyko ventured into corporate America, where he worked in direct mail advertising. He cut his teeth as an ad exec, but every time he approached a business owner, he learned the same thing: There’s nothing like the power of word-of-mouth advertising. “Everybody wants buzz about their restaurant, their movie or their business,” he says. “But if you go to a restaurant owner and propose a free dinner for every 10 people you bring in, they’ll look at you funny.”

Frustrated with the advertising industry, BK went back to the networking business with his parents after they sold the Amway business. He became successful with another network marketing company based in Montreal. Together, the family – mom, dad, his sisters and his brother – earned a handsome six-figure income every month. But the company began to erode through corporate mismanagement. His mother, Dottie, was diagnosed with a brain tumor in February 1994 and passed away only months later. Then the company for which they were distributors declared bankruptcy 10 days before Christmas. Unfortunately, the family lost their father, Ben, to heart disease just a few years later.

“When you go through that much pain over a short time, you need to find something to turn your pain into a passion.” BK says. “You need to make something good come out of it. Interview with TOP CEO at Malaysia

Hari ni kat opis ada project manager cerita pasal dia terserempak dengan salah seorg TOP CEO kat Malaysia. Dia kata CEO tu memang sangat humble, or bahasa melayu nya rendah diri la.. Aku mmg respek kalo jumpa org mcm ni...dah berjaya, jawatan besar, ada kuasa, tapi masih rendah diri... Satu sifat yang patut dipuji..

Maka aku pon terpikir la kalo dapat buat interview dgn diorg tentang cara2 utk berjaya, apa ciri2 yg perlu ada utk berjaya, dll.... aku akan pikir kan lg soalan lain dr masa ke semasa... harap idea ini akan menjadi kenyataan....

Bermulanya suatu permulaan...
